I had to send my Acer laptop in for a warranty repair, and I’ll admit I was expecting it to be a total hassle. The claim form confused me at first, so that part was kind of frustrating, but at the same time it wasn’t as bad as I thought once I got going. Support got back to me surprisingly fast, and the repair was finished in about a week. I can’t say the whole thing was perfect, because it definitely could’ve been clearer, but I also don’t really have much to complain about. Got the laptop back and it’s working fine now, so overall I’m happy with how it went.

It runs games fine on medium settings, so I’ll give it that, but wow, this noisy little heat box gets hot fast. The fans kick in like it’s trying to take off, which gets annoying after a while. For the price, it’s not a total disappointment, but I definitely expected better performance and cooling...

i’ve had my acer laptop for a few months now, and the battery has been solid for my daily use. i mostly use it for browsing, emails, and watching netflix, and i usually get around 6 to 7 hours if i keep the brightness down a bit. charging doesn’t feel too slow either. it definitely drains quicker during video calls, but that’s not really surprising. overall i’m happy with it, though i do wish it lasted just a little longer.
